Our work combined on-site inspection with advanced modelling to provide a clear and reliable feasibility assessment, helping the council make informed decisions regarding preservation and use.

Neilly Davies Consulting Engineers were engaged by Liverpool City Council and the Eptec Group to conduct a detailed structural inspection and assessment of the Georges River Foot Bridge at Voyager Point. The primary objective was to evaluate the existing bridge’s structural integrity and service condition, particularly in light of proposed maintenance works that would introduce additional loads. Over a period of two months, our team carried out comprehensive investigations to determine whether the historic structure could safely support scaffolding, hoarding, and stripping and painting activities planned by the council.
