Structural Inspection - Hornsby Shire Council
Neilly Davies was engaged to provide structural assessments of existing Council assets. These assets included road infrastructure assets such as culverts and bridges, and council building assets such as libraries, the aquatic centre, the indoor sports stadium, and community centres.
There were 13 assets inspected over a 10-day period. The inspections were conducted in accordance with the RTA Bridge Inspection Procedure and Neilly Davies Building Assessment Standards. The inspection process involved photographing assets using aerial drone footage and phone images. Images of defects identified as well as general shots were taken for reference.
Overall, the client was very pleased with our service provided. Efficient project management and communication skills allowed the inspections to be completed as scheduled. The use of assessment standards and templates ensured that the workflow was efficient as well as high quality, and the resulting documentation clearly outlines actions to be taken by Hornsby Shire Council.
