Notable Projects
Wandella Bridge
The Sutherland Shire Council enlisted the expertise of qualified structural engineers to conduct Level 3 Bridge Assessments for three bridges located in the Sutherland area. As part of this assessment, our team at Neilly Davies performed Load Assessments for the bridges, and established the maximum allowable dynamic loading, recommending an appropriate speed limit for regular traffic.
Havelock Avenue Bridge
Neilly Davies won a tender from Randwick City Council to investigate and report on the stability of two existing brick masonry retaining wall abutments located on Havelock Avenue, Coogee. In addition, a level 3 bridge inspection for the bridge superstructure was also required for the bridge spanning above Havelock Avenue.
Georges River Foot Bridge
Neilly Davies was commissioned by the Liverpool City Council to conduct an inspection and assessment of the George's River Pedestrian Bridge. The assessment focused on performing a structural analysis of the bridge to determine its capacity to withstand additional loading during maintenance activities. Specifically, the evaluation examined the bridge's ability to support the weight associated with stripping and painting, as well as the installation of scaffolding and hoarding required for these purposes.
